Successfully financed: Patent infringement in the carpet industry

In the “Patent Infringement in the Carpet Industry” case, financing was successfully arranged through a litigation financier registered on the AEQUIFIN platform.

The claimant had developed and patented an efficient method for laying floor coverings using magnetic and later also non-magnetic adhesion based on a powder coating. He is now claiming damages for infringement of the patent by a carpet tile manufacturer and its supplier.

The patent holder has already achieved an initial victory: The Federal Patent Court rejected the opposing parties' objection to the grant of the patent.
